Workshop “Energy Transition, Sustainability and Development” – Buenos Aires, December 3-5, 2025
With broad participation from academics, journalists, productive-sector representatives and social organizations, the workshop “Energy Transition, Sustainability and Development” took place on the campus of the National University of San Martín (UNSAM). The event was aimed at discussing the challenges of the socio-ecological crisis and the prospects for a sustainable supply of new energies and raw materials.
The meeting, held from December 3 to 5, was part of the DAAD academic cooperation program “Green Energy and Sustainable Raw Materials in the Framework of a North–South–South Cooperation”, promoted by the University of Kassel, UNSAM and the University of Havana.Throughout the sessions, participants discussed socio-environmental justice, gender, territorial resistance, emerging technologies and development models, contributing to a plural dialogue on the energy and socio-ecological futures of the region.
